AMELIA ISLAND BEACH ACCESS 40 Amelia Island beach access 40 is easy to get to as it’s right off of Fletcher. There is a very small parking lot, but if you can find a place to park, it has a new boardwalk and a big wide beach. There is a little drop-off in the sand as you make your way to the water, but otherwise, a decent place to access the ocean.

I’d skip this beach access since I checked it out for you.

This beach access has an older, more rustic boardwalk and a longer walk to the beach. As you head to the beach, you climb up and back down on the boardwalk. However, the good thing is there are no stairs.

Once you arrive, it does have a nice wide beach, but it’s a little far out to get in the water. It's okay, but there are many other choices to access the beach on Amelia Island.

AMELIA ISLAND BEACH ACCESS 6 There is no parking at this beach access, so I would go somewhere else unless you can walk. The only parking is along a side street, all the way on the other side of Fletcher.

However, once you actually get across the road it’s a nice short walk to the beach. It’s a nice path, but there isn't a boardwalk. You head down a bit of a hill to get down to the beach. The beach itself is nice and wide and has lots of waves, but it looks a little rough for me.

It appears to be a good fishing spot, though!
