BEACH ACCESSES ON ISLE OF PALMS

When visiting the Isle of Palms, here are three beach access points to consider:
BREACH INLET:
This spot offers good parking access and is suitable for beach walking.
However, swimming or bringing a lot of stuff to set up might not be feasible unless you're willing to walk quite a bit.
Overall Rating: 7.4
STATION 6:
Similar to most beach accesses on the southwest side of the island, Station 6 offers a handful of parking spaces on 6th Street, but these fill up fast. A wide sandy path makes it easy to carry all your beach necessities, with great open views of the Isle of Palms dunes and beautiful homes.
There is a decently wide space on the beach for lounging if the tide isn’t too high.
Overall Rating: 7.5
FRONT BEACH BY COCONUT JOE'S:
This beach access offers a full beach town experience with lots of parking places nearby, multiple outdoor showers and wash stations, public restrooms, and the bar at Joe's.
Personally, this is not the beach access for me, but it is perfect for any vacationer who wants a few hours at the beach followed by a frozen drink overlooking the ocean.
Overall Rating: 6.8
