The Mills House Hotel is an experience you don't want to miss!
The Mills House is almost a destination in itself. It’s located in the heart of Charleston, right at Meeting and Queens, and within walking distance of most local attractions. It has a grand, classic Charleston style, and it’s pink!

After checking in, enjoy a glass of complimentary champagne in the beautiful lobby of the Mills House.
Your bags will be transported to your room while you drink your bubbles at one of the loveseats in the two-story foyer.

Or step out into the Mills House's beautiful courtyard to sit by the fire and enjoy the sounds of the fountain. You can find a spot on their comfy couches or under an umbrella at one of their classic wrought iron tables. The Mills House Hotel even offers s’mores on weekends. Be sure to walk through the lobby to see their beautifully curated selection of artwork on the walls. Most of it is oversized and local. You won’t want to miss it.
There are so many amenities right in the hotel. Enjoy a cocktail at the classic bar at the elegant Iron Rose in the lobby of The Mills House. Try the ‘Royale Rose,’ made with tequila, cranberry, prosecco, lime, and a little mint. The Iron Rose restaurant also serves a nice breakfast. Try the Holy City Breakfast or indulge in my favorite – the tres leche French toast.
If you want a quick breakfast before heading out to see the city, try the coffee shop right in the Mills House Hotel lobby. The Black Door Café has a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches, artisan pastries, and coffees. They also offer salads and sandwiches for a quick lunch option.

If you are a hotel guest at The Mills House and want a quiet few hours by the pool, be sure to see the Terrace. You can also enjoy poolside cocktails or sunsets seasonally.

If you want nice artwork, a gift, or a souvenir, the Rebecca Illustrated Shop is in the lobby. As a nod to the Mills House Hotel, there are lots of beautifully illustrated pink gift items.
Although the exterior is traditional, the rooms are all updated and decorated in a fresh coastal Carolina style.
The Mills House offers views of the city or the pool. Splurge and stay in one of their cabana rooms just off the pool. Whether you decide to stay for a night or a few days, you’ll feel spoiled as a guest of the Mills House Hotel.
