Alfredo's On Folly: Homemade Italian Food
Who would have thought you could find such delicious Italian food on Folly Beach? Alfredo's on Folly is a hidden gem on a side street in Folly for a casual Italian meal. It's no-frills, but they make fresh pasta daily, and all the food we've tried is SO delicious.

Alfredo's On Folly: A Beach Town Setting
Order at the counter and sit on the patio under the patio lights at Alfredo's on Folly.
Start with garlic bread, which is garlicky, buttery, and delicious. Have a glass of Barbera and an Italian or Caesar salad. We tried 'The Italian,' made with fresh ingredients and what tastes like homemade dressing.
Alfredo's on Folly has a selection of local beers and decent wines. They serve everything in disposable containers, and the atmosphere is super-casual, but the food is delicious and fresh.

Good Wines, Fresh Food

I love the 'mix and match' offering at Alfredo's on Folly. You choose your fresh homemade pasta, and you choose your sauce. They offer the typical spaghetti and fettuccine but also feature a delicious bucatini, a thick spaghetti with a hole in the middle. The papardelle and paccheri are also a nice twist.

As for the sauce, I prefer the amatriciana, which reminds me of my mom's cooking. The carbonara and the arugula pesto are also worth trying. Alfredo's on Folly's beef ragu and the tomato basil both taste fresh and delicious. The pasta is homemade and cooked to perfection, al dente. Add a meatball, chicken, sausage, or shrimp to any dish.
Or try the chicken parmasan panini. The chicken is shredded and mixed with the sauce and cheese, so every bite melts in your mouth.

Perfectly Grilled Paninis

Alfredo's on Folly features a lovely outdoor patio decorated in a traditional Italian style, complete with lights and red and green accents. After a day of sun and surf, there's no better spot to unwind for a hearty meal and a Folly Beach vibe.
