Iggy's Pizza Shop is the number one pizza restaurant in Mount P!
Oh, my gosh! This might be the best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy!
Iggy’s Pizza Shop is warm and welcoming with a casual, comfortable, and cozy setting. Order at the counter and find a spot on one of the long picnic tables or a seat at the marble-topped bar. Iggy’s Pizza Shop gets super-busy on weekends, especially in the summer, so be sure to plan ahead or try to get there early.

Start with Iggy's Pizza Shop's Get Your Greek On salad. The dressing is so fresh and was clearly homemade. They recommended a light red wine when I asked, and I was unsure about it being served in a can. But it was perfect with the pizza, and I’m kind of picky about those kinds of things. Somehow it just works.

Try the ‘Notorious Fig’, made with goat and ricotta cheeses, fig jam, sopprassata, kalamata olives, basil, and fresh mozzarella. My personal favorite is the Knockout, which is a nice combo of really good pepperoni, basil, and honey, with a hint of crushed red pepper. ‘Yet Feta Eat Olive It’ is another good one at Iggy's Pizza Shop. It's made with green olives, feta cheese, basil, and a hint of honey. Or build your own pizza.
I’ve been told that Iggy’s Pizza Shop's wings are excellent, as are their hoagies and baked pastas. But honestly, I just can’t pass up the pizza, so I haven’t tried them.

In addition to the crazy good pizza, this little restaurant seems to be managed SO well. And what I mean by that is the service is impeccable, everyone is so friendly, and I could hear whoever was in charge talking to the servers and guys making pizzas. He kept them customer-focused, on task, in a positive, upbeat way. I’m not sure, but it might have been Brian, who owns the place with his wife, Erinn. Iggy’s Pizza Shop is named after Brian’s grandfather in honor of their family’s love of handmade food.
