Sweet Palm Coffee is in Downtown Charleston, right on King Street.

I received complimentary items at Sweet Palm Coffee to review, but all opinions are my own.

Sweet Palm Coffee is a new downtown Charleston coffee shop right on King Street. This café blends laid-back energy with creative coffee drinks and breakfast and lunch items.

Sweet Palm Coffee strikes has a breezy coastal decor with beautiful palm fronds on the wall and large windows that let in lots of natural light.

Sweet Palm Coffee has cozy small tables as well as counter seating that faces the window, which is a great spot for people watching on King Street.

Walk to the counter and order from the electronic menu. It’s an easy and efficient way to customize your order. The drink menu at Sweet Palm Coffee includes both classic espresso options and their signature lattes. Try the Sweet Palm Latte, made with house-made vanilla bean syrup, honey, and cinnamon, topped with cold foam.

Or try the Pistachio Latte and Southern Pecan Praline Latte. Sweet Palm Coffee also offers traditional and seasonal teas, pour-overs, and cold brews, which round out the lineup for every kind of coffee craving.

I don’t drink much coffee in the afternoon, so I love that they offer refreshers, coolers, and natural, plant-based energy drinks with green coffee extract, caffeine, B12, and other natural ingredients. Try the Golden Wave Refresher, which includes pineapple and mango.

I love that Sweet Palm Coffee supports the local community and has partnered with the College of Charleston basketball team. They have created a rotating menu of drinks created and inspired by key members of the basketball team. The Jaxon Prunty Latte is a cinnamon bun-inspired latte, and Christian Reeves’s Catch32 is a chocolate-dipped strawberry latte with a strawberry cold foam!

Many places offer avocado toast, but Sweet Palm Coffee’s has a fresh lemon taste and is topped with feta, pickled onions, hard-boiled eggs, and everything bagel seasoning. I like that it has some protein on it and is full of flavor. The turkey bacon and cheddar egg bites are a great option if you are on the go. They also offer heartier sandwiches and wraps, such as the Caprese on Ciabatta and a chicken pesto wrap.

Sweet Palm Coffee cinnamon roll

So, let’s talk about Sweet Palm Coffee's cinnamon rolls. They are made in-house, and they are the best I’ve eaten. Oversized and served warm, with a swirl of icing, they are perfectly baked, soft in the middle with a slight, not chewy, top. Even if you don’t drink coffee, try Sweet Palm Coffee just for the cinnamon rolls.
