. Timoti's Seafood Shak: Wild Caught Seafare
When I go to the beach on vacation, I love to eat seafood. Like every day.

Timotis Seafood Shak in downtown Fernandina Beach, has the best local fried shrimp.
I also like their tuna poke bowl, but everything on the menu is wild-caught and delicious. Order at the counter and take a seat at one of the wooden picnic tables on their outdoor patio. Timoti's Seafood Shak no longer has indoor seating, but they have several fans, and the outdoor pergola is lovely, even on a hot day.

The menu at Timoti's Seafood Shak features a selection of fresh baskets containing shrimp, fish, clams, or oysters. They offer them fried, blackened, or grilled, and they are served with fries and hushpuppies. I like their fries, but sometimes I like to sub them for the seaweed salad or the cucumber salad.

If you order the tuna poke bowl, consider adding the extra tuna. It balances out better with the rice, avocado, and greens. Timotis Seafood Shak also serves an assortment of fish tacos, fish sandwiches, po-boys, and salads you can top with seafood.
Timotis Seafood Shak has a play structure in the back where you can let the kids run around after they eat, and you can enjoy a cold beer and some fresh seafood while they play.

If you want fresh seafood in a laid-back, no-fuss spot on Amelia Island, Timoti’s Seafood Shak is a local favorite worth visiting. It’s not fancy, but it’s personally my favorite spot for seafood on Amelia Island.
