Did you know that The Kingstide is Daniel Island’s only waterfront restaurant? I’d recommend taking the Daniel Island Ferry over for a night out under the stars!

The Kingstide is located in a beautiful two-story building that sits along the Wando River. There are two sprawling porches and picturesque views from multiple directions.

The inside of the Kingstide Daniel Island is light-filled with large windows to capture the views. It is decorated beautifully in an understated nautical style and feels warm and inviting. Even the tile in the restroom is thoughtfully planned. (Be sure and check it out.) The outside porches are my choice for dining because I have always loved eating outside, and you'll love the views of the water.

Oh, and the Kingstide's food is good too!
They specialize in seafood and offer some delicious raw or wood-fired seafood options. They use fresh and local ingredients focused on what’s in season. They have a few other dishes for the non-seafood eater as well.
Start with hushpuppies with sorghum butter. My grandmother used to make it, and now I wished I'd asked more questions about her method. It's delicious mixed with the butter and served with their hot hushpuppies.

I could make a meal out of the Kingstide Daniel Island's Lowcountry chowder. It's made with clams, bacon, and potatoes and is SO flavorful. It’s warm, filling, and great for a cool night!
The fish slider appetizers on Hawaiian rolls are unusual and unexpectedly delicious.

I’m not sure what they do to their wood-fired carrots, but they might be the best carrots I’ve ever eaten.

The Kingstide Daniel Island's grilled peaches are divine!
Finish off your meal with the Kingstide Crunch Bar, made with nutella, chocolate, and corn flakes and topped with hazelnut ice cream.
